Each apartment is spacious and has a kitchen, room, 2 bedrooms with boxspring beds and a bathroom/toilet. In front of the apartments is a large terrace with seats

In the back there are play areas, an outdoor terrace, covered lounge seating, barbecue and covered Swedish hot tub. Bicycles and motorbikes can be placed under the roof and there are parkingplaces available.

The location of Gurkhof in Gnesau is on the edge of the Nockbergen (hiking, cycling and winter sports area) near Bad Kleinkirchheim and Turracher Höhe. Central location with regard to many sightseeings, activities and water recreation such as Ossiacher See. Italy and Slovenia for a day trip are recommended and quick to reach.

We, Hans and Erna Koolhof have been living in Carinthia in the village of Gnesau since March 2008. Austria gave us a familiar feeling since childhood and we spent many holidays there until the thoughts became serious about living there. Carinthia was the deciding factor for us because of the variety in landscape, climate, space and accessible mountains for young and old. Many factors such as less stress, a better quality of life and beautiful nature together form the total picture. And of course the many hours of sunshine compared to the other side of the Alps due to its location. We would also like to convey that pleasant feeling to the holiday guests.
